iPads
TCE 5th graders should come to school each day with their iPad and charger. Please ensure your child charges his/her iPad each evening. Your child should also check periodically to ensure his/her iPad's software is up to date (settings --> general --> software update).

Snack
We will have a short snack time each day while we continue to work. 5th graders do not each lunch until 1:00 PM each day, so it's important that they have a healthy and nutritious snack each day to fuel their bodies. We also ask that the snack they bring is completely free of peanuts/tree nuts. This will help provide a safe environment for all learners. Thank you for your help!

Special Friends Day
Please plan on joining us Friday, September 9th for a fun-filled day at Town Center! This is a day for "Special Friends" (family & family friends) to visit our learners' classrooms in order to see some of the great things they are learning and doing. Our campus book fair will also be open during this time. Our specific time for 5th grade is 11:30-12:30.

If you plan to come, it would be so helpful to our front office if you would fill out this form ahead of time. This will help shorten the time it takes for everyone to sign in.

Finally, please see the note below from PTO:
Dear Town Center Families -

We are looking forward to Special Friends Day on Friday, September 9th! This is a day where a grandparent, parent, neighbor or friend joins your child to see their new classroom, walk around to get to know the school and look at the book fair, if they'd like. Each grade has an assigned time of the day for their visitor to come. The kids put a lot of time into creating things to show their special friend. In order to help make this a Special Day we would like to serve simple refreshments that are "school friendly".

As many of you know, our budget numbers have been down since Covid so in order to pull this off we are looking for donations. If you are willing to buy popcorn or serving cups, sign up below.  You can leave them with Laura Fairchild in the front office by Wednesday, September 7th.

***The best price on these products is at Costco, but you can also find them at other stores.  Popcorn amounts were decided using the Costco size bags.  Please buy two bags if you buy them from another store.***

Thank you!
Jackie Kincade
TCE PTO Room Parent Communications Coordinator
