Our fifth grade Sky Ranch field trip will be April 27-29, 2022. Sky Ranch Camp is located in Van, Texas. Our fifth-grade learners, educators, and chaperones travel there in the spring for three days/two nights for an educational experience that supports our fifth-grade science TEKS. During the trip, the kids participate in outdoor education classes, team building activities, and night activities such as a campfire. It's a fan favorite every year!
All Sky Ranch Paperwork is due Friday, April 1st.
The first payment of $100 was due February 4, 2022.
The second payment was due Friday March 11, 2022.
If you need help financially, please reach out to Mrs. Heingartner our Assistant Principal at kheingartner@coppellisd.com
We will have a Parent Chaperone Meeting on Thursday, April 7th. This is just for the parents that have already been notified about being chaperones for our trip.

Ms. Martin, our principal, sends out a weekly parent newsletter. Please make sure you read this every week.
We have recently started Book Clubs in reading class. Each student has been given a book from our campus Literacy Library. The learners are able to bring the books home so that they can read at home, but it's really important that the books come back to school each day. The students will need to return the books at the end of the unit.
In addition, each book club group has a certain number of chapters/pages that need to be read each week. Therefore, the learners may need to do some reading at home.

Our very own Rachel Perry was honored at a School Board Meeting for being this year's Town Center Teacher of the Year! We are so proud of Ms. Perry!
