In math, we will begin exploring word problems for multiplication and division. We will use strip diagrams to visually display word problem scenarios and pick out key words/phrases to help us understand the operations.

In reading, learners will continue to write about their reading, as well as develop ideas as they write.

In writing, learners will learn different techniques to raise the level of narrative writing and different strategies to generate new ideas.

In science, we will continue our matter and energy unit next week by exploring the phase changes and conducting labs in class to help us learn how the movement of molecules in the different phases vary.

In social studies, we will be learning about the 13 Colonies. We will focus first on the New England colonies and the Middle colonies this week.
Science fun in the TCE Garden!
